Four Poems by AP

  1. There was once a poet tree
She said "Pin your good poems to me"
    We did as she told
But she said they were old
So we all got our poet degree

There once was a person named Bob
He called the hair on his head a mob
    He combed and gelled
    He screamed and yelled
Because he couldn't fix his mob

    There was a pine tree
He sat different from the rest
    He was really sad

There once was a certain bee
Who wanted to be more like me
    He did all he could
    But he was misunderstood
Turns out he was the bee he should

Ghost Car by DM, H, IS, SM, HP, AP

On the edge of the City; far from highways, and art shows, and crowds, and traffic jams, and Mercedes Benz dealerships, and Ferrari dealerships, and Toyota dealerships, and the Tesla factory; there was Babinski's Used Autos.
There were plenty of pick up trucks on their lot -- Chevys, Fords, Nissans, and GMCs -- and there were plenty of other cars. Most of them were family vans, SUVs, and four door sedans. A couple of Cadillacs rested inside Babinkski's Showroom. Those were polished lovingly by Mr. Babinski. Mrs. Babinski never touched the cars because she was the General Manager of the business and also handled all the finance computer work. Their daughter, Bonnie (poor woman!) was the head mechanic. She mostly had her head under the hood of whatever car or truck was in her garage, but she usually had a couple of the high school girls or boys apprenticing her garage, because aside from being a wickedly good mechanic, she was a tough but smart teacher.

Bonnie loved cars, but there was one car...she stood in the open garage door, wiping her hands on a shop towel as she stared out at the back edge of Babinski's Used Autos. She stared at the light grey Tesla.

She shook her head and sighed. “That car is so sad. I feel like it will never glow like the other cars.”

Her best apprentice, Russel “Rusty” said, “The aura just gives me the creeps.”

“The car hasn’t been polished in forever,” Bonnie’s best friend, Julie jokes. “We could at least  try.”

She approaches the car but stops a few feet away and turns to face her friends. “Yeah, I can see what you mean by the aura giving you the creeps.” She calmly walks away from the car. “I feel like this car came from a haunted house.”

“This is why it looks like it hasn’t been polished in ages,” Bonnie said. “Because it hasn’t.”

“Well, are you two gonna to polish it?” said Julie.

“I don’t think I can,” Russel replied.

“Me neither! Somethings just not right with that car.” Bonnie added.

The group got hungry so they clocked out and started their long walk to Babinski’s brother’s bakery, Babinski’s Bakery. The bakery sold many french goods. They walked past 5th street, and a cold fog blew over the sidewalk. They heard the engines of a car revving, it was getting louder and louder. They turned around and there it was the grey tesla zooming straight for them. They jumped out of the way just as the tesla drove right over where they were standing moments before.

“Did you see the driver?” Russel gasped, “No one bought the car before we closed, right?”

“No, I was at the desk, I didn’t see anyone coming in,” Bonnie replied.

“This is scary! Really scary!” Julie yelled.

“Why did we choose to walk down 5th street? All there is is a cemetery and a valley,” Russel whispered shakily.

Then, they heard a loud bang come from down the street. There, lying in the ditch, was the car. The three teens ran over. Bonnie looked inside. “Oh, god. Oh, god, there is no driver. Guys, is it just me or did I feel a REALLY cold chill run through me.”

“I don’t think that was just you,” Russel said.

Julie covered her eyes and started sobbing. “I hate scary things. I hate petrifying things!”

The tesla's motor sputtered, and started up again. But this time, the car didn't move.

“Did you start the engine?” Bonnie questioned, poking her head from the back.

“No, neither of us touched the car,” Russel replied.

“Is a ghost?” Julie quivered as she spoke.

“Na it couldn’t be.” Russel said.

“Actually it is a possibility that Julie could be right. I don’t know how but I do know it's possible.”Bonnie reasoned.

“Well, whatever is wrong with it we have to bring it back right? Please say n-” Julie said.

“Yup we’re bringing it back.”

A New Day by I.S.

As one day passes another one grows,
As another day comes the tears let go,
The bad memories become silenced,
And they leave you be,
For tomorrow is a new day,
Where the pages of memories are blank,

Ready to be filled by thee.

FLASH FICTION Entry #1

She sketched a beautiful drawing of the ducklings that roamed around at the pond.
"A part of my presence will always remain alive here," she thought.

She left it in a shop as a memorandum before her parting away from home.

When she returned a few years later, she found the shop was sold to another.

And instead of her sketch she found a note written by the shop keeper,

"Come to the back and find your sketch." She walked back and discovered her sketch
in an art gallery where lots of people were waiting to applaud her.

HOW TO Directions Set 3

1. Fold one corner (the one farthest away from the red line. I’m using notebook paper) and fold it so it meets up with the red line.

2. Take the thinnest point and fold it up till it meets the edge of the paper

3. Fold it in half the hot-dog way,

4. Fold the corner nearest to the red line until it lines up with the edge.

5. Fold it in half

6. Fold each edge down twice.

7.Fold the corners across then tape the point.

HOW TO Direction Set 2

1-fold a rectangular piece of paper on half the hamburger way
2-next fold up one of the corners (2 sheets of paper) so that one side of the corner is even aginst the long side.
3-next fold down the triangular piece. Now there should be a small piece of paper sticking out from behind the large triangle.
4- Now, tuck the extra piece of paper inside of the large triangle.

HOW TO Direction Set 1

1. Fold the paper in half, hot dog way, then open it up again. You should see a line
2. Bring the upper corners down, so they meet together
3. Then, take the corners down until you can't take them down anymore
4. Then, take the tip if the met corners and bring it up.
5. Take the lower left corner until it reaches the edge of the paper

THREE POEMS by DM

War is a Contract to Death

War is a contract [with] to death, as you sign away with flourish.
You sign off on weapons, you’re signing off to her or him.
As you go to war at home or abroad, he takes souls without caring.
Little does he know or care, he’s making families grim.
Death is as fast as a bullet, as he swoops down and takes.
Till one side grabs the contract, and rips it up to bits.
For death comes when war is on, and less when it is off.
We wait for him to go, as we lower our men and women into pits.
He swooped down and took our soldiers, because the contract let him so.
Even if you end the agreement, he can still swoop and take.
Taking those who wronged him by narrow escape or those on the verge of death.
Why do we make wars when peace is safer to make?

Tears are Feelings In Every Drop

Tears are feelings in every drop, as I wash my pain away.
Sadness, anger, heart ache, all can fall to the ground.
If you let your feelings flow, you might feel better.
As you let the tears leak from your eyes, making a river so big you could drown.
You worried that if you go to your friend and tell them what’s wrong.
That they would laugh at your suffering and go away.
You're worried you would lose them because of your pain.
Only good friends help you and  truly stay.
As the tears fall, as the emotions go away, you sometimes sit and wonder, ‘Why?’
As your sadness falls from your leaky eyes, as the anger falls from your eyes with fury.
As the heart ache falls from your red eyes, that cried for hours, waiting for the pain to go.
And if the painful feelings don’t go away, they start to feel unsavory.
So more tears fall, as the emotions go, go, go away.
You keep on balling, for you don’t know when to stop.
The emotions can still be bottled up.
These tears still flow inside, nonstop.
Sometimes you cry for the wrong things, so your eyes continue leaking.
Sometimes, you have to let that experience and emotion go.
The pain, the hurt, the sorrow, the rage and wrath.
Most people try to hide what they should show.
Tell or show the people you trust, the emotions that you have.
Whatever you feel, for these people will not judge.
They won’t laugh at your pain and suffering.
For no matter what you feel, a good friend will listen and not budge.

The Tornado Inside

The tornado of feelings, swirls and mixes inside me.
Happiness, sadness, anger, excitement, all come to find me.
As I sit with those feelings mixing inside me.
I wonder what I feel and know.
These feelings are unhappy.
But happy at the same time.
They make me want to weep, and jump for joy.
And to stomp, and cry, but also enjoy.
As someone with this tornado, sits down and plunders.
“What do I feel?  Am I feeling this or that?” This person wonders.
They feel multiple different things, with the tornado inside them.
But the one you feel most, you’ll have to find them.

Is the Hunger Games Going To Be An Actual Thing?! by DM

With people making the government unhappy, it is heard that they might go to the Hunger Games for last resort, to teach the 50 states a lesson for disobeying them and the government is planning to use the games to create order, with 100 kids, two from each state, going in and only one coming out.

Harry Potter is REAL! by DM

On a trip through Britain, ten people saw a man with black hair and glasses, a woman with flaming red hair, and three kids go behind a wall in King Cross station, and out of curiosity, a woman by the name of Bell Bellona decided to investigate, ducking in, she expected to wack her head but it went through, causing herself to gasp, she saw a red train labeled Hogwarts Express, the Harry Potter world couldn’t hide itself for long.

When Bellona went in, no one questioned her but she was able to see the famous Potter family
an the Granger-Weasleys, for she heard them by name.
When we asked her what had happened, after telling us the story, she said,
“I had always loved Harry Potter, but knowing it’s real made me so happy.”

Billie Eilish Discovers Giant, Fast, Rideable, Friendly Butterflies Near Florida by DM

On a boat trip near the Bermuda Triangle, Billie Eilish was on a private cruise near Florida when she saw some butterflies in the distance, but when the boat approached them the butterflies came towards her and licked her like a dog and seemed friendly so she jumped on and she flew around the US and back to her cruise.

When we interviewed her, half the reporters fainted, but anyway, she said, “It was amazing,
the way I felt the wind in my face, it made me think of songs and is helping with an idea of
a new song.

The butterfly is my pet.
Her name is Tulip.”

And she showed us the giant butterfly and let us take turns riding it.  Billie EIlish is so cool.

Poem 2 by H.

As sleep wandered upon me,
I heard the sounds of the night,
The mournful cries of owls,
       The screech of bats,
But what I hear now,
       Is different.

      My door creaking,
           The steps quivering.

           Someone is coming.

A Poem by H.

I stand in the field,
Embracing the beauty around me,
The sun smiles,
The flowers filled with glee,
The breeze laughing,
The morning playing,
Mother Nature watching,
The day is bright.

(All in a sun shape)

A Wish Poem by I.S.

Sun still rises from the East,
boasting it’s shining radiance for all to see.
Thousands of flowers still bloom around,
Soft petals unfold sharing their beauty with the world.
Have our lives return,
let us free from our prison,
to have fun together as we did,
Playing games, running together,
Making wishes.
Let the moon paint
over this rocky path, leading us up.
To the shimmering stars in the night sky.
May the space in between become a bridge of success,

Let our windswept hearts heal.
