Five Poems by S.M.

  1. There was once a bee in a tree
And he wanted to sell honey you see
But his honey tasted funny
Yet he still made some money

  1. There   was an old man of Kilkenny
Who  never had more than a penny
He spent all that money
On onions and honey
That wayward old man of Kilkenny

  1.  There once was  a man from Nantucket
This man lived in a  bucket
He was a normal man
He was in a band
And he was from Nantucket

  1. There   was a boy named Nantucket
Whose foot  had been stuck in a bucket
He pulled on the pail
Then he started to wail
When he found he could not unstuck it

  1.                         Light
                 Clear , Brilliant
        Glowing, Shining, Revealing
 Mirror, Candle …. Whisper, Shadow
    Deepening, Sleeping, Shrouding
                 Black , Quiet
                    Darkness

  1. There was once a poet tree
She said "Pin your good poems to me"
    We did as she told
But she said they were old
So we all got our poet degree

  2. There once was a person named Bob
He called the hair on his head a mob
    He combed and gelled
    He screamed and yelled
Because he couldn't fix his mob

  4. There once was a certain bee
Who wanted to be more like me
    He did all he could
    But he was misunderstood
Turns out he was the bee he should be
